Application brief

sports glasses for kids

Project use

Youth sports programs, school teams and retail kids fit bands.

Fit notes

Petite millimetre ranges and temple length before bulk.

Documents

Destination packing and model files, not a company ISO brochure.

Request Factory Quotes

One custom sports glasses specification sheet, then compare

Translate a sports glasses for kids project into purchase requirements before factories price. Fit band, lens path and destination packing change the quote more than a catalogue photo.

Frame size

Lens width, bridge and temple in millimetres for the youth fit band being priced.

Lens design

Plano, single vision or other path named on the line. Do not mix adult and kids sizes on one SKU.

Marking

Ask whether any safety mark applies to this kids model. A sibling adult SKU is not evidence.

Site constraints such as inner-pack count and ship-to state belong in the brief. Documents must name the quoted model. Ratings, certificates, lead time and price remain subject to supplier confirmation.

Custom sports glasses purchasing roles we support

Optical buyers

Sports glasses for kids for retail dispensing. Confirm millimetre size and lens path against the intended youth fit family before factories quote.

Safety distributors

If the application needs a marked model, ask for the marking on that SKU. Plano and prescription paths stay separate purchase lines.

Sports resellers

State lens color and polarization. Quantity by pair and destination crate count keep youth wholesale replies comparable.

Marked youth size versus a one-size claim

Public manufacturer charts separate petite, standard and wide frame widths. A quote without lens width, bridge and temple length in millimetres is not comparable for sports glasses for kids. Marked size can be checked on a sample; a one-size claim is only acceptable if the buyer agrees the fit range is unspecified.

Base lens versus coated lens

Anti-reflective coating, hard coat, mirror finish and polarization change the quote. They are not included unless the supplier writes them in. An uncoated tinted lens and a polarized stack are different purchase lines even when the sports silhouette looks identical. State which coatings travel with the pair before comparing unit prices for sports glasses for kids.

Plano path versus prescription path

A public ANSI-style model sheet separates plano, reader-power and prescription-adaptable forms. Those are different quote lines. Plano needs the impact marking restated on the youth model. Prescription needs the power range and who edges the lenses written before factories answer. Mixing both paths on one kids sports line hides which factory can actually deliver.

Limits for application quoting: we do not validate dispensing fit on site, we do not invent destination labeling rules, and we do not transfer a company certificate to a different SKU. Temple length and bridge width still belong on every youth size line because petite charts vary by manufacturer. Use the inquiry options when the family is still too wide, or send quantity and destination on the contact form. The Requirements page lists opening fields.
